This Monday, August 26, the Union of Actors and Actresses in Spain announced the news of the death via X (formerly Twitter).
“Actor Julián Ortega dies at age 41. Rest in peace,” the foundation wrote before extending its condolences “to family and friends.”
So far, the reason why the interpreter died has not been made known, and neither have his loved ones issued an official statement.

After what happened went viral, figures from the art world who worked with Julián Ortega expressed their disbelief and distress.
Actress Helena Lanza noted in an Instagram post: “Shock from this morning. I can’t believe it. “What a great pain.”
“Julian, I will always remember you. A very likable, kind, generous, intelligent, talented being… How I loved watching him on stage and how much I loved sharing plans with him,” he said.
