Jennifer Lopez has made her first public appearance since filing for divorce from Ben Affleck after just two years of marriage.

As TMZ reports, the singer filed papers to dissolve her legal relationship with the actor on August 20.

After weeks of being “missing,” Jennifer López resumed her activities outside of her luxury mansion this Saturday, August 31.

According to the Daily Mail, the “On the Floor” singer attended an event in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles County.

For this outing, she chose to wear a white turtleneck top and jeans with platform sneakers.

To complete her ‘outfit’, the ‘Selena’ star wore an Hermès Birkin bag and pink aviator sunglasses.

However, what attracted the most attention is that on her left index finger instead of a wedding ring she wore “a gold ring with diamonds”, the media reported.

The British newspaper noted that the “Bronx Diva” “had a very peaceful expression on her face despite the drama” over her split from Ben Affleck.

The superstar’s sighting comes after she started vacating the residence she shared with the director and their respective children.

On August 29, paparazzi captured a moving truck and a red van full of large boxes at the property, which is currently for sale for $68 million.

A source told People that the actress is “not comfortable” living there: “It’s too big for her and also filled with too many memories.”

Hours after being photographed on the street, Jennifer López made a post on her official Instagram account.

She uploaded several snaps to celebrate what she did over the summer, something that certainly didn’t happen alongside Ben Affleck.

In one of her “selfies”, with her back to the mirror in a bathroom, the artist shows her buttocks, exposed thanks to her swimsuit.

Another portrait shows the phrase printed on a T-shirt: “She is blooming and carefree, unapproachable and quiet.”

Previously, People reported, citing an insider “close” to the pop icon, that she is “as good as it gets” as she begins the process to consummate their union.

“It was incredibly difficult for her that he decided to distance himself from their marriage and move on with his life, leaving her behind,” the relative said.
