Nanci Gil reports on the presenter’s insistence on building a relationship with the media and sponsors; her father confirms the story
In the podcast ‘Tagarelando’, by Lucas Carvalho and Paloma Amaral, the presenter Raul Gil and his daughter Nanci Gil, revealed an unusual proposal that would have been launched by Gugu Liberato.
“He wanted to make a (dating) contract,” the spokesperson said. “How about we pretend to go out together? Then you make a lot of money, I make a lot of money with this and that commercial,” Gugu said, according to Nanci.
“We were supposed to go out, we had already planned a cover of ‘Caras’. He said ‘we’re going to leave the Maksoud (hotel), they’re going to take pictures of us.’ But we’re not going out, you know?’”
“I didn’t know it was…”, commented Raul Gil in the interview, referring to the alleged homosexuality or bisexuality of the presenter, victim of a domestic accident at the age of 60, in November 2019.
Nanci says she turned down the offer. “I don’t know how to deal with lies. Pretending to be one thing, and that’s another.” Gugu allegedly insisted. “Think about it, I’ll give you 1 month (to decide),” she said, according to her. “The lie would increase. I talk a lot, I couldn’t sustain the lie.”
Raul Gil confirmed the story. “But I didn’t know about Gugu’s (intimate) life. We had dinner together, many even thought I was ‘his case’. Then they told me (about the presenter’s sexuality)”.
