Dayanne Bezerra claims that the blocking of her Instagram account is part of an attempt to silence her family
Dayanne Bezerra, Deolane Bezerra’s sister, said on Saturday (7) that her family is the target of an attempt to silence her, after her Instagram account was removed. The influencer, who had millions of followers, began using Deolane’s account and a backup account to communicate with fans, claiming that the ban was part of an attempt to “silence” her family.
Complaint and appeal to followers
“They are trying to silence us, that’s why they removed my Instagram,” Dayanne said. She explained that she went to prison to visit her sister Deolane, who has been in prison since Wednesday (9/4), and that after she revealed the incident on her Instagram, she was asked to make a plea to her sister’s fans to follow her on other social media. Dayanne also reported that Deolane has written a new letter to her fans, in which she talks about her feelings in prison and thanks them for their support.
The account of Deolane’s other sister, Daniele Bezerra, remains online without problems, including gambling advertising.
Arrests and custody hearing
Deolane Bezerra and her mother Solange were arrested in a police operation against an alleged criminal organization on charges of money laundering and illegal gambling, which also involved the owners of two large betting companies, Esporte da Sorte and Vai de Bet. The Court of Pernambuco decided to keep both women in preventive detention after a custody hearing held on Thursday (9/5). Deolane’s request for habeas corpus was also rejected and the investigation remains under judicial secrecy.
