The funeral wake of the actor Emiliano Queiroz will take place this Saturday, the 5th, at the Casa de cultura Laura Alvim, in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. The ceremony will begin at 11am and last until 3pm, and will be open to the public. Cremation will take place at 5pm, in the Penitência cemetery, and will be reserved for friends and family.

The artist died this Friday 4, at the age of 88, in Rio de Janeiro. He became known for starring in more than 40 soap operas, one of his most notable characters was Dirceu Borboleta, in O Bem-Amado (1973).
Emiliano was hospitalized for 10 days at the Clínica São Vicente da Gávea, in the south of Rio, after having three stents implanted in his heart. On Thursday the 3rd he was discharged and returned home.
In the early hours of Friday Emiliano began to feel unwell and was taken back to hospital, but suffered cardiac arrest. He was resuscitated and intubated, but died a few hours later.
The actor celebrated 70 years of career in 2022 and gave an interview to the Conversa com Bial program, recalling the most memorable moments of his professional career.
