October is the month of the campaign to fight and prevent breast cancer and Ivete Sangalo underlined the importance of prevention
Ivete Sangalo took advantage of Pink October, the breast cancer awareness month, to warn her followers about the importance of prevention. Over the course of the month, the singer updated her routine tests and reinforced the need for preventative measures.
Initially, Ivete appeared in a hospital setting and emphasized the importance of preventative care. “Where am I? Having a mammogram! It starts in October and every year I do the preventive exams, the mammogram,” she said.
Afterwards, the singer stressed that the procedure is peaceful: “It doesn’t hurt, do it. Take care of yourself, okay friend? Take care of yourself!”, she encouraged. Furthermore, Ivete Sangalo reminded that preventive exams can be carried out at any time of the year, not just in October.
