Rodrigo Faro’s wife, Vera Vielused social media to show the progress of the surgery he underwent to remove a tumor. In the video, published on Saturday 26th, she reflected on what the scars mean to her. “They’re part of my story,” he says.

“The scars from my operation are more than just physical marks. I am a testimony to God’s overcoming, endurance, healing, and miracle in my life. Many people feel ashamed or embarrassed when they show their scars, but these marks are part of my story,” she said.
He explains that he wants to inspire other people who are going through the same thing by sharing his experience. “When we let go of shame, we open space to talk about health, recovery, and the human experience,” she reflected.
How did you discover the tumor?
On social media, he said he discovered the condition after taking Muay Thai lessons and feeling a lump in his thighs. “God was so perfect and merciful that everything was arranged for me to discover. I started taking Muay Thai lessons a month ago and felt a lump in my leg. I thought I had hurt myself by attending these courses, but what I didn’t know was that the tumor was already there and a hematoma had formed on it that made me feel pain,” he explained.
“I had to undergo surgery to remove it, but at no time was I afraid and, yes, I was very grateful to God for showing me this tumor at the right time, as well as providing me with this wonderful and blessed medical team to perform the surgery !! It is inexplicable what I have experienced with God these last few days, so when you are faced with a problem, always make sure that He is in charge and always takes care of everything!!”, he added.
