In addition to spreading the image, Internet users also claim that Kamala paid a fortune for the photo to disappear from the web. “Kamala’s team spent more than $5 million to have images of her and Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs removed from the internet. It would be a real shame if this got out,” reads a post on X , formerly Twitter.
However, this is a picture false. Several international fact-checking platforms, such as Agence France-Presse (AFP), confirm that the data has been manipulated. A quick search on a popular image bank helps to easily disprove the Republicans’ fraud.
The photo used for the montage concerns a meeting between Diddy and Misa Hylton, mother of the rapper’s eldest son. Kamala’s face was glued over the designer’s. The original shot was taken in 2019, on the occasion of the artist’s fiftieth birthday, and is available on the Getty Images website.
