The investigation into Liam Payne’s death leads to the arrest of three suspects in Argentina


A hotel employee, a businessman and a drug dealer are among those arrested in the case that has shocked fans around the world.




This Thursday (7), the Argentine police arrested three suspects involved in the death of the British singerLiam Payne , former member of the band One Direction. Among those arrested is an employee of the CasaSur Palermo hotel, where the artist stayed; an Argentine businessman, friend of Payne; and a local drug dealer.

According to the prosecutor AndrĂ©s Esteban Madreathe suspects are accused of “abandonment of a person resulting in death” and of “supplying and aiding and abetting drugs”, as reported by the Sky News portal.

Liam’s manager abandoned the singer in critical condition

The accident occurred on October 16 when Payne fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, causing multiple traumas and internal and external hemorrhages that caused his immediate death. According to the Argentine newspaper La NaciĂ³n, the entrepreneur is accused of having abandoned the singer at a critical moment and of not having informed the family about the artist’s condition. Police records show the businessman’s phone number was associated with the hotel reservation, but he did not answer any calls after the body was found.

The toxicology test found drugs in Liam’s system
