Almost a month after Liam Payne’s death, one of the men being investigated for allegedly supplying drugs to the Briton in the days before his death has given his first statements.

Last week, Argentina’s National Criminal and Penitentiary Office revealed that three people had been charged in connection with the death of the former One Direction member.

Two of them, the agency said in a statement, are accused of allegedly providing the singer with “cocaine” and “drugs” at different times during his stay in the country.

“The reality is I didn’t supply him with drugs,” the suspect stated as he began to detail what happened between him and the composer.

According to him, they met at the store where he worked as a waiter and, later, she visited him at the Park Hyatt Hotel, as he was staying there at the time.

“At one of these times he comes up to me and asks for my contact info, I give him my Instagram and there he is messaging me because he wanted to get high, he was already high, I think he was going to a concert,” she said. he said.

Panizza pointed out, taking what Paiz explained to him, that he left after an hour and a half together, but that he continued to talk to Liam through social media in the following weeks.
