In an interview with Portuguese Portugal Flash!, the journalist, specializing in European royals, revealed that the Duchess of Sussex asked for the amount of 80 million dollars (approximately R$461 million) to the British Crown.
“The American woman was determined to make a ‘good deal’ with the divorce and, therefore, did not seem at all sweet when she asked,” Eyre said. Meghan and Harry have been away from the duties and functions of British royals since 2020.
“This sum will not be new to the Windsors as it would have already been an imposition of the former actress when signing the prenuptial agreement. Furthermore, she requests to retain the title of duchess,” he added.
