The supermodel spent more than 10 hours in captivity after being kidnapped with her photographer husband Henry Genreand daughter. According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP)the family was approached by armed criminals on Wednesday 27th, outside a restaurant in the Alto da Lapa region, west of São Paulo.
The police managed to locate the location of the captive using the victims’ cell phones. The family was rescued on Thursday 28th during the search by the teams of the Anti-Kidnapping Division of the Department for Strategic Police Operations (DOPE), the gang abandoned the family on site and fled.
The crime was reported to the 3rd police station for the repression of extortion and restriction of freedom of victims, which investigates the case and searches for the criminals.
