Isabel Veloso celebrated her son’s milestone
The digital influencer Isabel Veloso moved her followers by sharing a special recording with her husband, Lucas Borbas, during a visit to their newborn son, Arthur, in the neonatal intensive care unit. The baby, born prematurely at 31 weeks and 2 days, is under medical care after the premature birth due to the mother’s delicate health condition.
In the publication, Isabel posed next to Arthur’s incubator and wrote: “A week of our toquinho”. The image brought a mixture of joy and overcoming, marking a significant moment in the family’s life. Arthur was born last week, weighs 1,702 kg and is 39 cm tall. The early arrival was necessary due to the development of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer with no cure, which Isabel is dealing with.
The influencer is in palliative care, seeking quality of life while managing the symptoms of the disease, which affects the mediastinal region, between the heart and lungs. Isabel’s fight against lymphoma has been shared with her followers, who closely follow the influencer’s journey of strength and love. The tumor, which no longer responds to chemotherapy treatments, causes symptoms such as dyspnea, arrhythmias and chronic pain.
Lucas Borbas, Isabel’s husband, also shared details about his son on social media. He revealed that Arthur looks a lot like his mother and justified the decision not to show the baby’s face yet. “It’s not beautiful or something to generate likes, but there are people who wish to do harm. All the care, physical and spiritual, is not enough now. You’ll see soon! It’s perfect”Lucas explained.
