Larissa Manoela sued record label Deckdisk over a lifetime contract signed by his parents, Silvana Taques AND Gilberto Eliawhich prevents her from resuming her musical career. The contract was signed in 2012, when the actress was 11 years old and amended six years later, again with her parents as representatives. The information was confirmed on Wednesday 8th by the artist’s consultants.

The case is pending at the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro and prevents Larissa from enjoying the financial access and rights to musical productions currently available on digital platforms.

Al Estadaothe lawyer Patrícia Proetti, responsible for the proceedings, explains: “This contract contains a lifetime clause, which is abusive, in addition to the silence on responsibility”.

“It is worth emphasizing that Larissa never had access to financial reports and never received any amounts from this contract. Larissa did not even take advantage of the rights arising from her digital platforms, which today are completely reserved for the contractor, including access to all these media”, he adds.
