Efigenia Ramos, who for decades was Silvia Pinal’s personal assistant, denied that the actress’ will had already been read.
He revealed that before it can be opened, the ongoing investigation must be completed to rule out the possibility of another will.
“They need to check that there are no others” and, if in any case there are more, the one with the latest date will be read.
As Ramos explained to the media, such as to journalist Eden Dorantes, this process can take “two months”, since a request must be sent to the “notary’s file”.
On December 17, the Pinal family met at the home of María Elena Galindo, who was named as deputy executor after the death of her sister Tina, and since then it has been speculated that the document had already been opened.
Eugenia clarified that it was just “an informational meeting” held in a “very cordial” way, so they will have to wait until the notary informs if there are more wills.
Did Silvia Pinal include her assistant in her will?
The alleged distribution of assets was also leaked and it was announced that Frida Sofia was among the heirs, information that Eugenia also confirmed in the press.
“The lady divided her possessions very well and loved them all equally, (Frida Sophia included).”
There was also speculation that Silvia Pinal inherited her personal assistant, a situation Ramos mentioned.
“I’m happy because he thought of me too whatever they want to give me, I’m fine. I will never do anything against the family, instead I am grateful that they love me as a member of the family,” he said.
