The 20 -year -old actress Mel Maia recently revealed that she was a victim of hacker who invaded her mother’s e -mail and, from there, had access to her residence security cameras.

Visibly shaken, Mel shared on his social networks: “cry, yesterday I cried horrors, my mother was violated. But those who had my mother hacked everything, also violated the cameras of my house.”
This is not the first time that the young woman suffered from computer crimes. Last year he was the victim of Deepfakes, who forged images to simulate the actress in porn videos.
Crime classification
The invasion of computers devices, such as and -mail and security cameras systems, constitutes a computer crime pursuant to Brazilian law. Law no. 12.737/2012, known as “Carolina Dieckmann Law”, aims to protect the privacy and security of personal data.
