British actor David Warner, known for many films, but he was especially remembered by the general public for his minor role in Titanic, has died at the age of 80. This news is reported RIA News with reference to the Sun newspaper.

According to the publication, the artist died of cancer. He spent his final days at Denville Hall Nursing Home, where professional actors and other theatrical professions are cared for. Warner left their lives early on the morning of 24 July.

“Over the past 18 months, he has accepted his diagnosis with characteristic benevolence and dignity,” Warner’s family said.

The actor has played over 200 roles. The most famous paintings with his participation are “Omen”, “Tron”, “Titanic”, “The Lost World”, “Planet of the Apes” and “Bandits in Time”.
