Britney Spears has finally finished the long-awaited book detailing her life, family, and years under her guardianship. For fans of the singer, this could be good news, if not for one thing – the publisher decided to slow down with the release date of star memoirs. It was originally planned that they would be published in January next year, but now it is not at all known when Britney’s memoirs will be able to see the light of day. And the reason for that turned out to be ridiculously simple.
The point this time is not the singer’s father, who through the court is trying to challenge the impartial statements of his daughter about him. And the fact is that over the years of the coronavirus, the demand for printed products has grown. And now Simon & Schuster, one of America’s largest publications, simply doesn’t have enough paper to give Britney the print run it was supposed to. Britney Spears signed a contract to publish her memoirs back in February of this year. And even received an advance payment for them – 15 million dollars. In the history of publishing such books, Spears’ deal with publishers is one of the largest – only Barack and Michelle Obama received more for their memoirs. The 44th President of the United States and the former First Lady received $60 million from Penguin Random House.

What will be the title of the book by Britney Spears is still unknown. One thing is clear – in it Britney was going to talk about how she lived in recent years, being under the tutelage of Jamie’s father. In addition, the singer wanted to write about her career and relationships with other members of her family, and there is something to talk about there. Britney has repeatedly admitted that her close relatives have never been truly sincere with her. Moreover, the artist openly accused her parents and sister of hypocrisy and greed.
I’m writing a book and it’s actually healing and therapeutic… It’s hard for me to remember past events in my life. I’ve never been able to express myself openly!!! I can only imagine that this sounds childish, but I was very young when those events took place,” Britney wrote on social networks, announcing her memoirs, but then deleted the post.

Recall that Britney Spears was limited in her rights, being under the guardianship of her father for 13 years. In November last year, the singer finally became legally free. In early July this year, Britney married her lover Sam Asgari, and is now preparing for her first performance since the abolition of custody – the singer is preparing a duet with Elton John.
