Last weekend, 40-year-old Kate Middleton spent in Plymouth, UK, where she took part in a friendly regatta against New Zealand. The Duchess was part of the team of the famous Ben Ainslie, a four-time Olympic champion in sailing.
The race started from Trinity Pier, where Kate appeared in an unusual look for herself – a jumper Erdem Lotus in white and blue stripes from last year’s collection and white Holland Cooper mini shorts (199 pounds) with a high waist, respectively, without tights, which are the mandatory dress code for female royals. She completed her casual outfit with white Superga sneakers (50 pounds), gold Orelia earrings (22 pounds) and the famous engagement ring once owned by the late Princess Diana. Already on board the catamaran, photographers captured the Duchess in a black wetsuit for yachting.

Note that Kate Middleton and Prince William are fond of sailing for a long time. This summer they spent a particularly long time on the coast, teaching children how to sail.
Apparently, for the sake of some social and sporting events, the Cambridges have to divert from their family vacations. In mid-July, it became known that they, along with three children, flew off to an unknown destination, and it is likely that their country house Anmer Hall in Norfolk became the end point of the route. They go there most often, usually on school holidays. Also traditionally in August, William and Kate visit Her Majesty’s Scottish residence in Balmoral with their children, so they will surely spend several days there this summer. By the way, it is expected that the children of the monarchs – George, Charlotte and Louis – will move to a new school in September.
