The priest had evident signs of drunkenness
In the early hours of Monday (19), an episode involving the priest Danilo Felix Franco37, has caused surprise and indignation among the recording residents, a city located within San Paolo. The priest was arrested after causing a revolt in a service station in the center of the municipality, under visible signs of drunkenness.
According to the witnesses, the priest arrived on the very altered site, he pronounced threats against employees and broke several bottles. The military police were triggered by customers who attended the scene. Upon arrival, the agents found the religious who prepared themselves to get out of the car, although he had evident signs of alcoholic poisoning – such as breaking, disorientation, disconnected and strong ethyl smell.
Conducted to the city police station, the priest was released after the collection of blood for toxicological exams. The result has not yet been disclosed. The case was officially recorded as a drunk guide. Due to the halting state of religious, it was not possible to question at the time of detention.
The recording diocese spoke through an official note signed by Dom Manoel Ferreira Dos Santos Júnior. The bishop complained of the accident, apologized to the community and ensured that the appropriate chad -offs will be applied, in addition to the measures already underway in the civil sphere. “We ask for forgiveness for the scandal. We reaffirm our commitment not to tolerate the attitudes that disfigure the mission of the Church”he underlined.
