39-year-old Cam Gigandet has joined the ranks of eligible Hollywood bachelors. Recently, the actor officially filed for divorce from his wife, 37-year-old actress Dominique Geisendorff. According to court documents, the reason for the gap was “irreconcilable differences”, and in fact the spouses broke up on May 1 of this year. Geisendorff is now seeking joint custody of the actors’ children, 13-year-old Everly, 9-year-old Rekker and 6-year-old Army. In addition, she demands alimony from Gigandet, but she herself asks not to turn to her for financial assistance.
Cam Gigandet and Dominique Geisendorff tied the knot in 2008. Gigandet is extremely secretive in matters of his personal life, because almost nothing is known about his early novels.
Gigandet is best known for playing the vampire villain James Weatherdale in Twilight, the image that brought him international fame. He also starred in the films “Burlesque”, “Bad Johnson” and “Roommate”. In 2015, People magazine included him in the list of the sexiest men on the planet.
