The show of the singer Gustavo Mooto, who was scheduled for Friday night (June 13), in Aracaju, was canceled at the last minute due to the intense rains that hit the city. The event was part of the “Araiá do Povo” program and, as reported by the artist himself on social networks, the postponement was made by the guidance of civil defense. The measure aimed to guarantee the safety of all those present, since in addition to the rain, strong winds influenced the structure of the place.
In a video published on Instagram Stories, Mooto revealed that he was already in the city from 13:00 (Brasilia time), together with other artists such as the Duo Israel and Rodoluffo. “We were already waiting and the like, but unfortunately we will not be able to perform today,” said the singer. He also said he learned about the cancellation on waking up, just before starting to prepare to get on stage.
Despite the unexpected event, the show was reprogrammed for Sunday (June 15). The compatriot reassured the fans, informing that their participation in the new date was already confirmed. “Domingão see you,” he said. He also said that the organization of events evaluated the availability of other artists for the new date.
“I apologize to all those who traveled from afar to be here, the people who have programmed themselves, but unfortunately he runs away from our hand,” said Mooto. According to him, the rain began during the landing of the team in the capital of Sergipe, which has already indicated the possibility of changes in the agenda.
