After 15 years of acting on TV Globo, Fernanda Gentil chose to leave the station in March 2023. For this period, he built a solid trajectory mainly in sports journalism, presenting programs and participating in great covers. Subsequently, he emigrated to entertainment, where he commanded Zig Zag Arena, his latest television project, ended in 2021.
Currently, Fernanda is dedicated to the production of internet content. The change, he said, brought benefits that they have passed his expectations.
“I don’t regret anything and I think it was much better than I imagined, because the internet has increased a lot, the possibilities are many and when you have been in a place for a long time, there is no way to know what’s out there,” he said during an interview with the Fatima Bernardes channel on YouTube.
The presenter reported having already needed changes even before making the decision. “I felt already trapped, I could no longer stay at home, I felt I already had a consolidated name to do more time, choose what I wanted to say,” he explained. For her, the desire to migrate to digital was already old and the transition process became easier after the definitive choice.
Fernanda also revealed that the most demanding moment of her trajectory at the station was the departure of this sport. “It was the most difficult decision of my life, but I had the feeling of having already done everything there, I had already presented all the programs of the house, I made the sports coverage I wanted to do,” he recalled.
According to her, Creative Freedom acquired outside the television is one of the main gains of the new phase. “Today I work more than ever, but almost always with what I like. This is the difference. It is much more useful,” he added.
