9 km traveled by the procession, part of them on the streets of the now entitled “Circuit of the Street Preta Gil blocks”, With reference to the years of the artist’s contribution to the popular festival. Along the way, the fans took balloons, bands and flags with the name of the singer and sang some of the most surprising songs, such as “Signs of Fire”.

Preta Gil died on Sunday 20, in New York, in the United States, due to the complications of cancer in the intestine. The singer leaves only his son, Francisco Gil, 30 years old, and the result of a relationship with the actor Otávio Muller.
