Daniela Lima’s departure from Globonews was confirmed on Monday morning (August 4), shortly after her return on vacation. The journalist, who was head of the morning connection program, together with Leilane Neubarth and Camila Bomfim since 2022, had the dismissal announced by the station a few hours after his absence in the live edition of the newspaper.
As disclosed, Daniela’s resignation are part of a renovation promoted by the Globo news channel, which aims to change in its programming in the coming months, in particular due to the celebrations of its 30 years in 2026. In the same movement, other names such as Eliane Cantanhêde and Mauro Paulino have left the company.
However, despite the official note of Globonews that mentioned a “permanent movement of the channel renewal”, behind the information -cenes indicate that the decision was influenced by the editorial differences between Daniela and the management of the station.
