Luciano Szafir, Sasha’s father, comments on the desire to become a grandfather

Luciano Szafir showed enthusiasm to participate in the first show of the “João Lucas – Live” tour show, held last Friday (August 1), in San Paolo. The event brought together several celebrities and participated Sasha Menehel, wife of the singer, and her mother, Xuxa. The actor followed the presentation together with his wife Luhanna Melloni, and to his sons David and Mikael.

Szafir’s involvement with the family goes beyond public apparitions. The artist, who has faced health problems in recent years, does not hide the affection he has for João Lucas, his son -inlaw. In an interview, he highlighted his closeness to the singer: “I like to say that he is more for son, not even his son, he is a son. I am in love with John. In fact, the whole family. John is a dessert.”

In fact, the desire to become a grandfather was also a topic during the conversation. Although he strengthened that the decision is exclusively for the couple, the actor showed expectations with the possibility. “I want them to be happy. They are young, in a professional moment of both who is a race. And who is father and mother knows: when they are born, they have to take a break, have fun, they are laborious. Travel a lot, but who decides to be theirs. Of course I will be extremely happy as a grandfather, but depends on them.”

Previously, João Lucas had already commented on the desire to be a father in a podcast, revealing that the will is shared with Sasha. However, the current priority of Xuxa’s daughter is still his career as a stylist. Therefore, the plans to increase the family are still postponing professional commitments.

Despite the emotional statements, Szafir also took the opportunity to update the public on their recovery from hip surgery in 2022. According to him, health is almost completely restored. “Thank God, I’m fine. I have improved almost 100%. From time to time there is a small problem or another, but I’m doing everything – sports, pedaling, swimming. I’m working hard on the game, traveling. It’s all fantastic.”

Currently, he shares the stage with Pitty Webo in the show “Single Women Search”, which has circulated in various cities in the country. Assembly has a new season scheduled for debut on August 11, in Campinas, at the Teatro for the Student Workshop.

The actor also revealed that new projects are underway, including outside the theater. According to him, there are productions foreseen for television and cinema, including a series in which he will act as a producer and actor. However, he preferred to keep the details confidential: “There are many projects for the end of the year and next year (…) but I still can’t speak (laughs)”.
