Valery Todorovsky published a rare portrait of his daughters for the first time since the death of Evgenia Brik

Six months have passed since the death of 40-year-old actress Evgenia Brik, and all this time Valery Todorovsky remained silent, only once posting a photo of his wife on his blog. The day before, the director published a touching family photo of two daughters – 12-year-old Zoe from her marriage to Brik and 27-year-old Katya from her marriage to Natalia Tokareva. Note that Valery almost never publishes photos of children on his blog, so this is a real rarity for fans of the movie legend.

Recall that the stars of the TV series “The Thaw” and “Mistresses” Evgenia Brik died on February 10 this year. The last months of her life, she desperately fought cancer in America. Todorovsky did not comment on the death of his wife in any way and did not get in touch on social networks until the end of the month, until he published the last photo of his late wife. On it, Evgenia poses against the backdrop of a flowering tree with short hair.

Todorovsky got along with Brik, being 19 years older, and also married to Natalya Tokareva, with whom he already raised two children – Ekaterina and Peter. But neither the age difference nor the family stood in the way of the lovers. They got married (however, according to Brik herself, they didn’t have a wedding celebration, only a visit to the registry office) in 2006, and three years later they became the parents of their daughter Zoya. The girl was born in New York, since since 2008 the director’s family has lived in America.
