Metcalf played Weed, the tour manager of Jean Smart comedian Deborah Vance, in the second season of the HBO Max comedy series. In the first season of the Hulu sitcom, Lane played Teddy Dimas, who sponsors an eponymous podcast hosted by the characters of Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez.
