Emily Ratajkowski files for divorce two months after splitting from husband

31-year-old Emily Ratajkowski has officially made it clear that there will be no reconciliation with the father of her child. Last Thursday, the model filed papers with the Manhattan Supreme Court asking for a divorce from film producer Sebastian Beer-McClard, whose marriage lasted a little over four years.

However, ex-spouses are unlikely to break up quickly and peacefully. Bear-McLard has already contested Ratajkowski’s lawsuit, Page Six has learned. This means that the couple is likely to face lengthy legal proceedings. What the ex-lovers could not agree on is not known, but it is possible that the main point of contention could be the issue of custody of their one-year-old son, Sylvester Appolo.

Officially, the separation of Emily Ratajkowski and her wife, film producer Sebastian Beer-McClard, became known at the end of July. However, rumors about the discord in the couple appeared in the middle of the month, when the paparazzi noticed Emily without a wedding ring. Then the journalists claimed that the model left her husband because of his infidelity, and she herself later indirectly confirmed this information. After breaking up in mid-August, Emily broke her silence on social media and posted a rare photo of her one-year-old son Sylvester.

Recall with her child’s father, producer Sebastian Beer-McClard, Emily was first spotted in December 2017 at a basketball game in New York. The model’s companion was not identified by photographers, and the couple’s behavior in public was interpreted only as friendly. But already in 2018, her fans and the media, to put it mildly, were shocked by the message about the wedding: Emily got married not for her boyfriend Jeff Magid, whom she met for three years and whom everyone knew about, but for Sebastian. The wedding went quietly, without noise: the couple signed at the New York City Hall February 23, 2018 in the presence of the closest friends and witnesses. Two years later, they announced that they were expecting their first child, and on March 8, 2021, the charming Sylvester Appolo was born.
