Yesterday in Venice, where the 79th Film Festival is coming to an end, the most anticipated premiere took place along with the film “Don’t Worry, Sunshine” – “Blonde”. Biopic, rDirected and written by Andrew Dominik, the red carpet was presented by the leading actors Ana de Armas and Adrien Brody. The actor came to the premiere with his lover, fashion designer Georgina Chapman, but the Cuban actress decided not to publish your current partner Paul Boukadakis, CEO of popular dating app Tinder. The film received a standing ovation for 14 minutes after viewing, which can only compete with standing ovations after watching the movie “The Whale” with Brendan Fraser. The first reviews are as follows: critics agreed that this is a worthy biopic about a star of such magnitude, the story turned out to be “gloomy, provocative and frank”, and Ana de Armas has every chance of getting an Oscar nomination this year. But even if she does not receive a statuette, the title of a new Hollywood star is definitely provided for her.
Recall that the script of the picture was based on the bestseller Joyce Carol Oates of the same name. The action of the novel takes place in the 1950s and 1960s and covers the main stages of the formation of Norma Jean Baker, known around the world as Marilyn Monroe, in the status of an icon of the cinema of the 20th century. Ana de Armas’ partners on the set were Bobby Cannavale, Julianne Nicholson, Caspar Phillipson, Toby Huss, Sarah Paxton and others.
