A military policeman was also reportedly punched in the face. The attackers tried to steal the weapons from the MPs, who responded by firing shots into the air to disperse the crowd and the attackers.
Also according to the Civil Police, the widespread brawl would have started after one of the attackers allegedly harassed the sister of one of the victims, which would have started the attacks, which then involved the prosecutors who were nearby.
The man who was beaten said security at the event saw the attackers, but took no action until shots were fired. The Civil Police informed, through a note to the Landinvestigating the event.
Singer Maraisa did not mention the episode on social media, but reassured fans that everything is fine.
