The original members of the soap opera band “Rebelde”, Dulce María, Anahí, Maitê Perroni, Christian Chávez and Christopher Uckermann, have published an enigmatic post on their social networks indicating a possible reunion of the group – and even a new tour.
The post in question is a video showing scenes from the soap opera, originally shown between 2004 and 2006, followed by images of their reunion. This reunion appears to have taken place during a dinner party that drew laughter and tears from the attendees.
However, at the end of the video, the address of a website called soyrebelde.world appears. And a notice appears on the site that says “get your tie ready, January 19, 2023”, followed by a countdown that will culminate on that date.
This has led ‘Rebelde’ fans to speculate that this will be the announcement of a new tour for the band.
This speculation has been circulating for a few days, since the former members of the group have deleted all their old publications on social networks, and even their profile photos – something similar to what Jennifer Lopez did, before the announcement of her new album.
If the comeback and eventual tour materializes, actor-singer Alfonso Herrera is expected to be ruled out. Some time ago he had already said that he no longer intended to sing and dance in concerts.
Furthermore, Herrera hasn’t attended any of the casting meetings that have taken place in recent years and hasn’t even shared the mystery video that her co-stars have posted.
