The Union of Artists and Technicians in Rio de Janeiro Entertainment Shows (Sated-RJ) has reported that influencer Rafa Kalimann will not be able to star in soap operas. The former BBB is slated to cast in Go to Faith from Rede Globo, which will premiere on January 16th.

It turns out that the influencer does not have professional actor registration, also known as DRT. Therefore, Rafa could not get involved in the artistic environment.

According to president Hugo Gross, the union has not received any request for special and specific authorization from TV Globo to be able to act, although the broadcaster had been warned several times.

“The attitude [da Globo] does not respect the law 6533/78 and the collective labor agreement, as well as discrediting the broadcaster itself, the union and embarrassing the same worker who exposes herself in case of refusal of the request”, explained Gross.

The president added that Sated-RJ has other professionals registered with the same profile as Rafa Kalimann, who “are waiting for an opportunity”.

Gross added that the union is “unlikely” to provide special permission for the influencer. This is because she has already obtained special permission from the union to star in the series “Rensga Hits!”, made available by the Globoplay platform.

“It was precisely for this product, still without professional membership. Sated will always fight for the category and we will use the legal means for that defense, always with unity and determination,” said the president.
