In a post on TikTok, the actor says that, after coming out to family and friends, no one would be surprised
Noah SchnappWill Byers of Stranger things, came out as gay in a video posted on TikTok. In the caption of the image, he wrote: “I think I’m more like Will than I thought.”
The character that the actor plays in the Netflix series is at the center of a discussion on sexuality. Some fans argue that the script suggests that he is in love with his best friend Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard).
In the video, Schapp says the matter is serious. “You know what he’s never been? So serious. He’s never been that serious. And honestly, he never will be again,” he said. In the publication he still writes: “When I finally told my family and friends that I’m gay, after 18 years of closet scares, everyone said, ‘I already knew.'” He watches the video.
