His ex-series partner Jensen Ackles has been in charge of breaking the news
Jared Padalecki (“Supernatural”) is “lucky to be alive” after a terrifying accident, Jensen Ackles revealed.
Both actors, who played the Winchester brothers on the TV series, were supposed to be at a fan convention in New Jersey over the weekend, but only Ackles showed up to explain why his co-star was absent.
“He sends his love,” he said. “I talked to him yesterday and he’s sad that he can’t be here.”
“He was in a very serious car accident. He wasn’t driving, he was in the passenger seat and he’s lucky to be alive. And not only that, but he’s home recovering, that the fact that he’s not even in the hospital right now is driving me crazy, because I saw the car.”
“There were no fatalities, but he is recoveringSend your love.”
Ackles continued: “The airbag has a big impact. He told me: ‘I feel like I did 12 rounds with Tyson‘. But she is doing well and she is moving. But if, It was a very, very bad car accident.”
“Just keep him in your thoughts, send him some love if you get a chance to socialize and he’ll be back with us soon.”

Last year, there was a bit of drama when a prequel series to ‘Supernatural (Supernatural)’ was announced, with Ackles as executive producer and narrator, but without the participation of Padalecki. In fact, she didn’t even know about the show until the public revealed it.
Creator Eric Kripke said he wrongly assumed Padalecki knew about the series before the announcement and has since apologized.
Padalecki, who currently stars in ‘Walker‘, he has since stated that he is looking forward to seeing the prequel and he urged fans not to send any hate to those involved in the spin-off.
