The protection covers the singer, her parents and her brother, Finneas
Billie Eilish filed a restraining order against Christopher Anderson, 39, a man who claims to be a fan of the singer and who has annoyed her and her family. According to TMZ, on Tuesday the 18th, the judge granted an interim order until the hearing is held next month.
According to legal documents obtained by the American site, the protection covers Billie, her parents and her brother, Finneas. The artist’s father reported that Anderson even went several times to her family home, saying that he loved the singer very much and wanted to meet her in person.
The police were called on five occasions and documented the events. The fact has generated “anxiety, fear and emotional distress” in Billie Eilish for the safety of her and her loved ones.
But this isn’t the first time he’s gone through this. In 2020, the owner of the hit Bad Guy was awarded three years of court protection against an obsessed fan who kept showing up at his house.
