Singer was painted red and wore more than 30,000 Swarovski crystals
Paris Fashion Week kicked off on Monday the 23rd with the show by Schiapparelli, as per tradition. The brand led doja cat using a look of over 30,000 crystals, all in red, which has become one of the most talked about topics.
According to the magazine Vogue Brazilthe crystals are Swarovski, applied directly to the rapper’s skin. The makeup is signed by pat mcgrathand took about five hours to complete.
In addition to having the leather all studded and painted red, the look is completed with a strapless dress of the same color, with textures and reliefs, as well as high boots, a shrug and a maxi earring.
Schiaparelli’s show is based on Dante’s Divine Comedy and Inferno, as the magazine points out. The brand’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry, brought doubt and fear as central points to the collection, and featured other celebrities, such as Kylie Jenner and Brazilian Gkay.
