The actress and model advanced the content of her new autobiography, ‘Love, Pamela’, and criticized the production of the series ‘Pam & Tommy’

The new memory of Pamela Andersontitled With love, Pamelaarrives in North American bookstores this Tuesday 31, but the actress and model has already advanced the content of the autobiography.
In a magazine interview Varietyshe recalled experiencing three cases of sexual abuse before she even turned 18 and revealed that she narrated these events in the book.
The first of these happened when she was just a child and a babysitter repeatedly harassed her. Subsequently, at the age of 12, she was raped by a man of 25. When she was in high school, a boy and her group of friends abused her.
“Predators look for someone to do things so humiliating you’d be ashamed to tell anyone,” Pamela said. “That sort of thing really marks the rest of your life. You either block things or you’ll deal with them later — and I’m dealing with them now.”
In the With love, Pamelathe model also explains that she believes her relationships have been shaped by the example she had at home, as she saw her father use physical violence against her mother when she was a child.
Years later, she herself was the victim of domestic violence when her then-husband, the drummer Tommy Lee, was jailed for six months after he kicked her with their son, Dylan, on her lap. Subsequently, she filed for divorce.
“I’m not a victim and I’m not the damsel in distress. I’ve made my own choices in my life. Some were obviously mine, but I’ve always managed to find myself. And that created a strong person and a mother,” she commented.

Pamela and Tommy Lee formed one of the most famous couples of the 90s and were embroiled in a scandal after the escape of a sex tape.
The story was told in the miniseries Pam & Tommyavailable on Star+in which Lily James And Sebastian Stan live couple. However, Pamela has already made it clear that she is not a fan of the production.
THE Varietyhe said the show’s exit distracted people from his more recent successes, such as starring in the musical Chicago on Broadway in 2022.
“Tommy probably thought it was funny. I remember Tommy wrote me a note saying, ‘Don’t let this hurt you like the first time,’ because he heard from the kids that I was struggling with the idea of bringing this all up again . I think it was portrayed kindly. I just know that I refuse to look at it,” she said.
In addition to her memoir, Pamela will also tell her story through a Netflix documentary. The production arrives on the platform this Tuesday 31st. Watch the trailer:
