“This dress is part of my life and part of my heart,” writes Chad Morisette, photographer and contributor to the Ripley Museum, home of Marilyn Monroe’s dress. Chad personally took part in organizing the exhibition process and worked with the relic for a long time – this is what he calls the outfit in which the most famous blonde in the world sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” . This year marks 60 years of the dress, a long time for any other garment, and even longer for one of the most protected and fragile models.
