Clan House: Ana Carolina Coelho questions deeply held ideas about motherhood

For the columnist CLAUDIA, one of the guests of our event, the concepts that perpetual society about motherhood must be questioned

“‘To be a mother’ is to suffer in… Everyone knows how to complete that sentence. Why?” asks Ana Carolina Coelho ( @anacarolinacoelho79), one of the guests of Casa Clan. The comment is a way to question them ready-made concepts that society teaches us about motherhood – and which, in general, are hardly questioned (at least until recently).

ON THE PUBLIC REGISTRATION FOR THE CLAN HOUSE

To discuss the issue together, we invite you to the talk How to teach to be a mother?: affects, guilt and female identities. The conversation, which will take place on March 10, at 4.30 pm, will see the participation of Ana Carolina and Mari Camardelli. REGISTER HERE!

“This is an opportunity to reflect on motherhood, its crystallized constructions, and how we, as women, may or may not be mothers in a more equal world,” she says.

Ana Carolina is, in her own words, “feminist, mother of two, writer, historian, teacher, belly dancer and tree planter, columnist for maternal chronicles CLAUDIA Magazine, CLAUDIA Online and Jornal Opção. Elected Mr. Beauty Global World 2022-2023″.

Between 8 and 11 March, Baby, CLAUDIA, Good Shape and Elastic promote Casa Clan, an event open to the public to celebrate and discuss issues related to the female universe. Motherhood could not be missing, or “motherhood in the plural”, as our guest likes to say. “After all, much stronger than the loneliness of suffering is the saying of Ubuntu that goes: ‘It takes a village to raise a child’”, she adds.

In addition to the talks, our meeting will be full of unmissable workshops and presentations. We talk about parental well-being, physical and mental health, career, balance, luxury, calm, literature and much more.

House of the clan

Casa Clan will take place from March 8 to 11 at Casa Higienópolis (Av. Higienópolis, 758), sponsored by MSD, BuscoFem, plus the support of Kia, LinkedIn, Intimissimi, Calzedonia and Galderma.
