Honestly, Renata reported postpartum depression when she thought she couldn’t cope, but she saw in her love for her daughter her strength and overcoming the difficult time.

“When I came home after being discharged from the maternity ward, I had panics of not being able to cope, of not being good enough, of losing myself… I just cried”he said. “At the same time, I felt immense gratitude for having lived a dream that was, for a while, left aside. I am a mother! And this awareness generated in me a fullness that was accompanied by a panic unexplainable, a feeling I’ve found that is common in women. I’ve sought medical help and, today, I’m fine.”
Renata Dominguez talks about the routine of motherhood
As for the routine, Renata said her life was turned upside down. Even with so many changes, she adjusts to the new routine of being a mother and says she gets help from her family. Though she has an extensive support network, the actress confessed that getting tired is inevitable.
“I prepared to breastfeed, I took a course and, on maternity leave, I was followed by the pediatrician Erica Riccomi and by the GAAM – Maternidade Sao Luiz Star breastfeeding support group. I had information, indications and, thank God, I produce a lot of milk. The difficulty is that Giulia sleeps on my chest. Her sleep is greater than her hunger. But as she matures, this is overcome”, Renata said about breastfeeding.
