Father Marcelo Rossi remembers his father’s death and is moved
During the interaction, the priest handed the journalist a copy of his book and opened it to a random page, dedicating the message to the mother of the professional, in honor of International Women’s Day. Then, the reporter revealed that her mother had died.
When asked what inspired him to create what devices he used to write his new book, the priest said it was all thanks to his father. Antonio Rossi passed away on October 3, at the age of 81.
“Actually, last year, before he knew about the cancer disease, he [meu pai] I had the idea for the book. My father died five months ago. The lack that he does here you have no idea. But the joy of being here … I’m doing something in honor of him “said Marcello Rossi.
Connection between journalist and priest
Both embraced in an emotional moment, sharing and understanding each other’s pain. The reporter thanked the priest for the special moment and read the message on the page marked by the priest, saying: “Many times we are exposed to unknown feelings and we do not understand the moment we are going through. Know that everything is revealed to us in the power of the Holy Spirit. Just trust in the Lord”.
“I was blown away. The message sounded exactly what I needed to hear. And he [padre Marcelo] also for everything that happened to the father. When I read it, I was shaking. He will stay forever”said João Brito, the journalist, in an interview with G1. “I was happy that this also touched so many people. Grieving is for everyone and when we talk about it it brings comfort to those who are going through it now”completed.
After the reading, the priest smiled and said he missed his father, while the journalist thanked him for the kind words. Upon returning to the headquarters of the newspaper, even the presenter was excited.
