‘Compact and intense’: discover Jojo Todynho’s 35-minute workout


We spoke to the phenom’s trainer, Carol Vaz, who detailed Jojo’s routine at the gym

For those with a busy routine, adjusting to exercise can be quite difficult. Now, imagine when you’re a singer, a law student, and ultimately a social media hit?

Funk artist Jojo Todynho is proving that it’s okay to hit the gym on busy days. Precisely because of the heavy week, the singer does a “compact and intense” workout, as summed up by Carol Vaz, a trainer in the gym, where Todynho will sweat.

“Workout is like a vehicle to improve our day. Pushing is a moment of mental hygiene. Jojo’s workout is meant to increase calorie burn, so you have to worry about strengthening your muscles,” explains the instructor.

Carol reveals that Jojo’s workout lasts between 30 and 35 minutes on machines and free weights. After that, it’s time to do some serious cardio. The singer even represented us on the treadmill:

Teacher Carol is simply proud of the student and is satisfied with Jojo’s evolution: “It takes courage to start any new business that you don’t master. She unlocked his mind, got into his head first,” she assures.

The artist hits the gym on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, performing five exercises with four sets each. What do you like best? Training your legs, Carol says: “She does it with pleasure, it’s a personal challenge. You can see the attempt to overcome in her eyes.

She had thought about having bariatric surgery but decided to focus on maintaining a fitness routine and a new diet. The singer entertained the audience by posting accounts of her daily life at the gym, and we are grateful.

It’s worth mentioning that she and Lucas Souza ended their marriage in October of last year and the two have been trading barbs on social media ever since.
