Before emerging as a fashion gambler, the model of humble origins dreamed of a career walking around the house where she lived with her family, in the interior of Pará. For this, and to avoid resources and other accessories in the house, Andressa wore bricks instead of high heels, combined with shoes, since she had no alternative in her dry wardrobe. (see testimonial below).

The situation touched family friends, who helped Andressa start her professional career. One of them was Verônica Rodrigues, mother of the singer Pabllo Vittar, one of her main supporters.

Check out Andressa Romais’ statement about her dream of becoming a model:

“I found out that I wanted to be a model thanks to my brother. He always said that I had possibilities, ever since I can remember. For me, it was an impossible dream, until I traveled. In the first week, I saw that everything I dreamed of in my childhood it was happening quickly.

My brother called several agencies and that’s how it all started. I remember I couldn’t afford high heels to train on the runway, so we got two bricks and two pieces of bicycle tire tape, which my brother tied to my foot. I was a kid and couldn’t stand it on my feet. After that, I could never see myself without high heels (laughs). I always have one in my wardrobe.

My childhood was very simple. My parents have always worked to give me the best. Even without conditions, it was there that I learned everything, in a humble home but with a lot of family love.

I shared a room with my older brother until I was 15, it was a wooden house, built more than 20 years ago and sadly it was already in a state of calamity, but even so I can only thank you for all the love my family has always given me.

My brother is a big fan of Pabllo Vittar, since the beginning of his career. So he always had contact with his mother via the Internet, Verônica Rodrigues. He even hosted us at his house once.

In the year 2022, my brother was in the city of Uberlândia and told Veronica that he missed his family. He then asked if my mom and I wanted to travel to be with him. We did everything to leave as soon as possible, I remember we packed our bags and I immediately thought: ‘our life is about to change'”.
