Tilapia Baits Ingredients with tartar sauce
- 1 kg of striped tilapia
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2/3 cup wheat flour (tea)
- 4 tablespoons of corn starch
- 1 can of light beer at room temperature (350ml)
- 2 ice cubes
- Fry oil
Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (tea)
- 1 chopped boiled egg
- 4 tablespoons of sour cream
- 4 diced pickled cucumbers
- 1 teaspoon(s) of mustard
- Chopped parsley to taste
Method of preparation
- First, for the sauce, in a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, egg, sour cream, cucumber, and mustard until smooth.
- Then put it in the fridge.
- Season the fish with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl mix the flour, cornstarch, salt and pepper.
- Pour the beer, a little at a time, stirring with a spoon until smooth.
- Add the ice cubes and let it melt a little at a time.
- Dip the fish into the mixture and tap lightly to remove excess batter.
- In a pan, fry a little at a time in hot oil until golden brown.
- Finally, drain them on absorbent paper and transfer them to a plate.
- Then serve the portion of tilapia accompanied by the sauce.
