  • 1 kg of striped tilapia
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2/3 cup wheat flour (tea)
  • 4 tablespoons of corn starch
  • 1 can of light beer at room temperature (350ml)
  • 2 ice cubes
  • Fry oil

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (tea)
  • 1 chopped boiled egg
  • 4 tablespoons of sour cream
  • 4 diced pickled cucumbers
  • 1 teaspoon(s) of mustard
  • Chopped parsley to taste

Method of preparation

  1. First, for the sauce, in a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, egg, sour cream, cucumber, and mustard until smooth.
  2. Then put it in the fridge.
  3. Season the fish with salt and pepper.
  4. In a bowl mix the flour, cornstarch, salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the beer, a little at a time, stirring with a spoon until smooth.
  6. Add the ice cubes and let it melt a little at a time.
  7. Dip the fish into the mixture and tap lightly to remove excess batter.
  8. In a pan, fry a little at a time in hot oil until golden brown.
  9. Finally, drain them on absorbent paper and transfer them to a plate.
