Travel with your movies and series with the Amazon Fire TV Stick

Check out the devices that can turn a “regular” TV into a Smart TV

There’s nothing like sitting on the sofa in the living room and watching your favorite series and movies on TV, although it’s possible to do the same on the small screens of smartphones and computers. When hotels or rental homes are the destination, not everyone has a Smart TV, an essential element to manage streaming platforms. But the good news is that you can “transform” a normal TV into a Smart one and thus be able to watch your series even on the go. The most famous of these is the Amazon Fire TV Stick device, but there are a few other options that we’ll list below.

Amazon Fire TV stick

Fire TV Stick is the standard version of Amazon’s product. The product offers the main and most desired functions, such as Alexa, capable of controlling your TV with your voice and the main streaming applications, such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney +, Star +, Globoplay, among others. Also, a cool feature here is the ability to control your TV with the Fire TV Stick remote.

Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite

As the name suggests, this is a slightly simpler version than the previous model, but it’s still a favorite among users. Here, too, are all the features found on the Fire TV Stick, except for the TV remote.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K

To close the Amazon models, the Fire TV Stick 4K is the most advanced of the three. The main feature of this model is compatibility with 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR and HDR10+ content. Of course, playing content in the highest quality requires a compatible TV with at least 4K quality.

Rock Express

The Roku system is one of the most used in Smart TVs, being already well established in the market, and the Roku Express works in a similar way to the Fire TV Stick, but with the Roku system. Just connect the device to your TV and create a free account to start watching the main streams and apps.

Google Chromecast 3

Despite getting very similar results, Chromecast works differently. Here you will need to connect your smartphone, tablet or notebook to the device to select the content to be played on the TV. The difference is compatibility with many Android and iOS applications, which may not be available on older systems.
