The machine, from the name Atalanta, was developed by the American company Wandercraft and is not used in Brazil. It works like a robotic exoskeletonthat is, an artificial skeleton that is used externally, glued to the person’s body, to support and allow movements to be reproduced.
I’m not the same person anymore after testing this gear! In the last three days I have been on a mission in the USA, where I tested the Atalante, an exoskeleton that acts as a support so that people with paralysis can stand up, move multidirectionally and have their arms free. pic.twitter.com/1QzrtNKcVa
