Built on a plateau, this home’s modernist design was engineered to provide the best views of any setting. And what views!! The landscape is so fantastic that nobody misses the TV. Made of concrete, stones and solid wood, the accommodation has the mountain range of Mantiqueira. Small paths lead guests to waterfalls and streams that criss-cross the property grounds. Ideal place for those who want tranquility, without neighbors and in the middle of nature. The kitchen and living room are sensational. It has wi-fi, but when it rains the connection is very unstable. Normal for a more isolated place. There is no television, but I think it makes more sense for the proposal to be a place to enjoy nature. The showers are very good. There are bugs – take insecticide and/or repellent. To get to the house you have to take a dirt road. If possible, it is better to go with a car that is at least a crossover. We went with a relatively low sedan and it was difficult. Mountain top chalet
The chalet is ideal for couples who want to enjoy the cold weather of São Francisco Xavier with comfort and privacy. Rosemary cottage
Set in an environmental conservation area, Chalé Alecrim is 500 meters from a waterfall and is surrounded by walking paths. Double bed, fully equipped kitchen, gas heated shower and Jacuzzi bath are part of the menu. The accommodation is about 30 minutes from the center and, if laziness strikes, breakfast and fondue can be booked with the praised hostess, Mônica, and paid for separately. Sitting on the large balcony overlooking the forest is truly the best detox. Oh, and pets are welcome, but read the rules mentioned in the ad carefully before booking. Book here.

The house is located in a condominium in the Capivari district, about 800 meters from the famous Baden Baden brewery, the epicenter of Campos do Jordão. There are four bedrooms that welcome up to nine guests, plus a fireplace, soaking tub, bikes to get around the condo, full kitchen, and barbecue grill. The rate includes breakfast and cleaning. São Bento do Sapucai
Chalet above the clouds
Located on a site on the way to Pedra do Bau, the chalet welcomes couples well and has a bathtub, fireplace, Smart TV and mini-kitchen. Pack your trainers: inside the site, a path of a few meters takes you to the base of Pedra do Baú. Breakfast, already included in the rate, is served in a dining room shared with other accommodation facilities. To reach the chalet it is necessary to climb 1 km of steep and unpaved road, but the view “above the clouds” is worth the effort. Book here.
