A woman was dressed for her wedding, knowing nothing, thinking she was going to be a model for a hairstyling contest in São Paulo. Upon learning that she was getting married, Renata Alencar, 27, was very excited. The video of the preparation went viral on social media this weekend.
The video, posted on TikTok by her brother-in-law’s beauty salon, describes how the young woman thought she was going to be a model for a bridal hairstyling contest. She was made up by her twin sister and given all the care for her big day.
Already dressed, she finds her father and starts crying. Then the bride asks, “What is it?”, and someone replies, “It’s your wedding.” Then the music starts and she enters the ceremony, already very excited.

After the video went viral, she posted on her Instagram that she was “never going to be tricked into something I didn’t want” and that her dream was to get married in church. “My husband has made this dream come true. I’m only sorry for those who didn’t like it,” she wrote.
