  • 1 liter of cachaça
  • 600ml of water
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 3 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of minced ginger
  • peel of 2 oranges (without the white part)
  • Peel of 1 lemon
  • 1 seedless apple cut into cubes
  • ½ tablespoon of cloves
  • 2 pieces of cinnamon stick

Method of preparation:

  1. Put the sugar, the orange and lemon peel, the apple, the ginger, the cloves and the cinnamon sticks in a saucepan and put over low heat, stirring constantly, until you obtain a caramel-coloured syrup.
  2. Turn off the heat and add the cachaça and water.
  3. Turn the heat back on and let the drink cook for 20 minutes over low heat. Serve.

  • 4 cloves

Method of preparation:

  1. Put the sugar in a saucepan, over low heat, mix well until you get a caramel.
  2. Add the other ingredients, except the cachaça, and mix well until everything has dissolved.
  3. Turn off the heat and add the cachaça.
  4. Turn the heat back on and let it boil for 3 minutes. Serve.

  • 3 teacups of water
  • 2 cups of orange juice
  • 2 teacups of apple juice

Method of preparation:

  1. Put the sugar, the orange and lemon peel, the ginger, the cloves and the cinnamon in a pan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until you get a caramel.
  2. Add the water, orange and apple juice and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove the orange and lemon peels with a slotted spoon and discard.
  4. Add apple and honey, mix well. Serve.
